Welcome to Aaura Stories! The terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to Aaura Stories. Aaura Stories operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience. Aaura Stories is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

By visiting, interacting with, or using our Services, or by purchasing something from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website.

Section 1 - Access and Account Eligibility

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. You have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use the Services on devices you own, purchase, or manage.

To use the Services, you may be asked to provide certain information, such as your email address, billing, payment, and shipping information. You represent and warrant that all the information you provide in our stores is correct, current, and complete. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all of your account activity.

Section 2 - AI Services and User Content

Aaura Stories utilizes artificial intelligence to process user inputs, such as descriptive and instructive text prompts, names, and other content, to generate customized children's books.

You are entirely responsible for all content that you upload, post, share, or otherwise input into the Service.
Any photos or images you upload for the purpose of personalizing your book are stored securely on AWS S3.
You grant Aaura Stories a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, adapt, and create derivative works of your content solely to provide and improve the Services.
You represent that you own or have sufficient rights to your content and that it does not infringe upon the rights of others.

Section 3 - Child Safety and Content Filtering

Given the nature of personalized children's books, user safety is paramount.

By submitting any input, image, or name of a minor child to create personalized books through the Services, you expressly represent and warrant that you are the legal parent or guardian of the child, or that you have obtained the express, verifiable consent of the child’s legal parent or guardian.
You are strictly prohibited from submitting input or prompting the creation of any output that is explicit, sexually suggestive, obscene, or harmful to minors in any way.
Any attempt to create explicit material or content that violates these Terms will result in the immediate and permanent suspension or termination of your account.

Section 4 - Orders, Pricing, and Billing

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Aaura Stories reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason at its discretion. We must receive and process your payment before your order is accepted.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product or service will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store.

Section 5 - Shipping, Returns, and Replacements

We partner with a dedicated third-party print provider who handles the printing and fulfillment of your custom books.

We are not liable for shipping and delivery delays caused by our print provider, shipping carriers (such as USPS), customs processing, or events outside our control.
Once our print provider transfers products to the carrier, title and risk of loss passes to you.
Because our products are custom-printed and personalized on demand, we do not accept returns except for defective, damaged, or misprinted items.
If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, you must notify us in writing immediately and not later than 24 hours after the delivery.
You should clearly state reasons for non-conformance, provide your order number, and include a picture or video of the product.
If the non-conformance was not caused by your acts or omissions, we shall coordinate with our print provider to repair or replace the product free of charge.

Section 6 - Intellectual Property

Our Services, including but not limited to all trademarks, brands, text, displays, images, graphics, and the design thereof, are owned by Aaura Stories or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms permit you to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or transmit any of the material on the Services without our prior written consent.

Section 7 - Prohibited Uses

You may access and use the Services for lawful purposes only. You may not access or use the Services:

For any unlawful or malicious purpose.
To violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances.
To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others.
To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Services.
To use or access the Service or any outputs to develop, modify, fine-tune, or train any artificial intelligence or machine-learning algorithms or models of any kind.

The information presented on or through the Services is made available solely for general information purposes. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of this information.

The Services and all products offered through the Services are provided "as is" and "as available" for your use, without any representation, warranties, or conditions of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. You acknowledge and agree that generated outputs may contain errors or omissions, and Aaura Stories makes no representation as to the absolute accuracy of any output.

Section 9 - Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent provided by law, in no case shall Aaura Stories, our partners, directors, officers, employees, affiliates, or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind. This includes, without limitation, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, or loss of data arising from your use of any of the Services or any products procured using the Services. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Section 10 - Severability and Termination

In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms.
